The Icon Editor Window allows you to edit a specific icon element. You can use any tool on the <B>Tool Palette</B> to modify the image being edited, as well as commands from the <B>Effects</B> menu and standard copy/paste functionality. When finished simply close the window. Note that you can switch back to the <a href="overview.help">Overview Window</a> at any time and open more than one Editor Window.<P>
When you paste a picture or use the <B>Text Tool</B> you can use the <B>Copy Drag</B> tool to move it to the desired location before committing the changes to the image (which you do by de-selecting it). If you don't want to commit the changes, you can press the <B>Delete</B> key while the pasted image is still selected, or you can select <B>Undo</B> from the Edit menu.<P>
The slider on the left allows you to zoom in and out easily. The image on the right displays a preview of the icon element being edited. If you check the <i>Show View Rectangle</i> checkbox, a dragable outline is displayed on the preview. If you are zoomed in far enough that the entire icon element is not visible you can drag this outline to whichever area you want to edit, just like the scrollbars.<P>
In Icon Brush II, the vertical scrollbar responds to the mouse wheel (if you have one) unless the shift key is down, in which case the horizontal scrollbar responds to the mouse wheel,
